Abstract Paintings

These paintings began by throwing house paint around, literally in the dark, with music blaring. I eventually turned on the lights to direct the “paint throwing” a bit more, but still keep the same sense of freedom and openness experienced in darkness. The inspiration might come from a feeling, a person, an element, or I might pick some colors and let the painting do what it wants. Abstract so they may be relinquished into imagination.
